My Biography

I have practiced real estate as my full time career since 1985.  I began my career in Marshfield, WI where I was born and reared.  I moved, permanently, to the Minocqua area in 1997. 

My parents purchased a Minocqua area vacation home on Fence Lake (part of the Flambeau chain)  in 1962.  This was not only the start of fabulous memories, it lead to my becoming involved with the Northwoods communitites.  As a teenager, I helped launch the Wa-Swa-Gon waterski club.  Our site was where the Lake Of The Torches Casino now sits.   In 1967, I taught remedial math and reading on the Lac Du Flambeau, Chippewa Reservation. 

Following high school,  I attended the U of Wi - Madison for three years.  I earned my BA in Journalism from New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, NM. 

Upon earning my degree, I returned to Marshfield, WI., where I helped manage a family owned department store chain.  The family business was liquidated in the early 80's which is when I began my new career in real estate.

While in Marshfield, WI., I served my local real estate board for 9 years earning Coldwell Banker American's "REALTOR of the Year" award in 1989 and the local board "REALTOR of the Year" in 1993.  In addition, I obtained my Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation and taught the State required real estate continuing education for four years at Mid State Technical Institute. 

After moving to Minocqua, I continued to further my real estate education obtaining certification in Resort and Recreational Properties (RRS) as well as becoming a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES).  I have consistently been a multi million dollar producer winning numerous "Silver" and "Diamond" Society awards through the Coldwell Banker franchise. 

I have a passion for the outdoors and enjoy boating, hiking, biking, skiing, and snowshoeing.  Wildlife and nature have a special place in my heart along with my Border Collie, Sambuca.  The Northwoods has fulfilled many of my dreams.  Let me help you find yours!!!!
